Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants haven’t won a game since Oct. 9.
In their eight contests since, they’ve lost their star running back Cam Skattebo, fired their head coach Brian Daboll, played seven (!) playoff-bound teams and lost by seven points or less in four of those matchups.
Tough breaks all around.
And, although Dart’s rookie campaign is all but over, the 2-12 Big Blue will do everything they can to take down JJ McCarthy’s 6-8 Minnesota Vikings today at MetLife Stadium.
Ahead of the week 16 showdown, Minnesota is riding a two-game win streak, comprised of impressive victories over the Commanders and Cowboys.

That hasn’t deterred the scrappy Giants, though.
“The main goal is to win. We wanna win,” Interim head coach Mike Kafka said in a press conference on Wednesday. “There’s no substitute for that. I think our guys are playing their tails off, and I appreciate that. We have to continue to find a way to continue to push a little bit more. Where is our edge that we can find to get us over the hump to win a game? We’re battling, we’re playing hard. We need more of that if we want to win.”
