The Denver Broncos have released an updated depth chart ahead of their Week 16 showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars at Empower Field at Mile High.
After the team placed Brandon Jones (pec) on injured reserve, they filled his old spot on the active roster by claiming running back Cody Schrader off waivers. P.J. Locke is expected to serve as a fill-in safety across from Talanoa Hufanga, and Schrader is listed as RB4 behind RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie.

Fans should note that while it comes straight from the team, the Broncos still call this an “unofficial” depth chart, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. With that in mind, here’s a look at how players stack up going into Week 15.

Broncos depth chart
Quarterback (2)
Sam Ehlinger was also elevated from the practice squad to the game-day roster for Week 16.
Running back (4)
Denver also has Deuce Vaughn available on the practice squad (Sincere McCormick was cut this week).
Tight end/fullback (4)
Marcedes Lewis was elevated from the practice squad three times while Nate Adkins was sidelined with a knee injury. Adkins has since returned and Lewis is back on the practice squad.

Wide receiver (5)
The Broncos cut Trent Sherfield and replaced him with Lil’Jordan Humphrey last month.
Offensive line (8)
LT: Garett Bolles, Geron Christian
LG: [Ben Powers], Alex Palczewski
C: Luke Wattenberg, Alex Forsyth
RG: Quinn Meinerz, Alex Palczewski
RT: Mike McGlinchey, Frank Crum
Ben Powers was activated from injured reserve on Saturday, but it remains to be seen if he will immediately return to the starting lineup.
Defensive line (7)
DE: Zach Allen, Jordan Jackson
DT: D.J. Jones, Malcolm Roach
Roach is perhaps one of the best “backup” defensive linemen in the NFL.
Outside linebacker (5)
Elliss, Tillman and Robinson form quite the trio of rotational pass rushers behind starters Cooper and Bonitto.
Inside linebacker (4)
ILB: Alex Singleton, Jordan Turner
Justin Strnad served as a fill-in starter while Dre Greenlaw was sidelined earlier this year, and he filled in again after Alex Singleton underwent successful surgery for testicular cancer. Greenlaw and Singleton have since returned to the lineup and Strnad now plays a rotational role, but he’s currently dealing with an ankle injury.

Cornerback (5)
Surtain is back after missing three games with a pectoral injury earlier this season.
Safety (4)
S: [Brandon Jones], Devon Key, [Delarrin Turner-Yell]
After losing Brandon Jones, the Broncos are expected to start P.J. Locke, but they have not yet updated the depth chart to reflect that. Leave it to Sean Payton to attempt not reveal any changes until he has to.
Special teams (3)
KR: Marvin Mims, Jaleel McLaughlin, Tyler Badie
PR: Marvin Mims, Riley Moss
With three games remaining, Mims has quietly racked up 1,334 all-purpose yards, a career high.
