The Indianapolis Colts will be without a key member of their offense in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The team announced on Sunday that left tackle Bernhard Raimann is downgraded from questionable to out for the game due to an elbow injury.

Raimann suffered the injury last week against Seattle and exited the game. After not practicing on Thursday or Friday, Raimann returned on Saturday but was limited. He was seen practicing with a big brace on his elbow.

Out of 62 eligible offensive tackles entering Week 15, Raimann ranked 27th in Pro Football Focus’ pass-blocking efficiency. As a run blocker, he ranked fourth among tackles in ESPN’s run-blocking win rate.

Raimann’s absence leaves the Colts with a big question mark on the offensive line, and Indianapolis has two ways they can go about configuring this unit without Raimann.

One is that Luke Tenuta can step in at left tackle as he did last week. Or another option, the Colts could move Matt Goncalves from right guard to right tackle, with Jalen Travis then sliding over to left tackle. Either Dalton Tucker or Danny Pinter could then take over at right guard.
