Can the Colts make the NFL playoffs?

The Colts have an 4% chance of making the playoffs, according to the New York Times playoff simulator, entering Sunday’s 4 p.m. games.

So who should Colts fans be rooting for today?

>> Cowboys: If Dallas beats the Chargers, Colts odds go up by 6% — The Chargers won this game.

>> Raiders: If Las Vegas beats the Texans, Colts odds go up by 4%

If the Colts beat the 49ers, their playoff odds go up to 11%; lose and they drop to 2%. But …

If the Colts lose Monday night, they have a 24% chance to make the playoffs if they beat Jacksonville and Houston the final two weeks of the season.

If the Colts win out, they have a 94% chance to make the playoffs. With Philip Rivers at quarterback, the odds are slim the Colts win out — that’s where the 4% comes in — but there is still a chance.
