A fifth defensive back is leaving Oregon this offseason.

Safety Kingston Lopa will enter the transfer portal and not be with the Ducks for the remainder of the College Football Playoff, he posted to social media on Sunday.

Lopa had 12 tackles with one sack this season. He had one tackle in six games while redshirting last season.

A four-star recruit, Lopa was the No. 17 safety and No. 208 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

His departure will be the sixth from UO this offseason, joining defensive backs Jahlil Florence, Dakoda Fields, Solomon Davis and Sione Laulea and receiver Justius Lowe. Oregon has 86 projected scholarship players in 2026.
