The Seattle Seahawks are currently projected to own the No. 32 overall selection in the 2026 NFL draft according to the real-time order. That would mean the Seahawks are drafting in the Super Bowl-winning spot. Imagine that!
The Draft Network recently dropped their latest first-round projection. They have the Seahawks taking South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse at No. 32 overall.
“The Seattle Seahawks considered trading Riq Woolen near the deadline, but he’s redeemed himself down the stretch,” The Draft Network wrote. “Woolen and Josh Jobe are pending free agents, leaving the corner position in flux. Brandon Cisse recently declared for the draft. Cisse has been excellent in man coverage this season, and he’s a great tackler in run support, too.”

We know what Seahawks fans might be thinking. Cisse and Seahawks rookie safety Nick Emmanwori were not teammates with the Gamecocks last season. Cisse transferred to South Carolina in 2025 after two seasons at NC State.
Seahawks general manager John Schneider could be in the market for a cornerback this offseason. As noted, both Woolen and Jobe are pending free agents. Cisse possesses the size and traits required to develop into a high-level NFL cornerback. Schneider will be monitoring him closely throughout the pre-draft process.
