The Detroit Lions (8-7) are nearing their Christmas Day showdown at the Minnesota Vikings (7-8) where all of their playoff hopes are on the line.

In order to make the playoffs, Detroit needs to win its final two games at Minnesota and at the Chicago Bears and see the Green Bay Packers lose their final two games versus Baltimore and at Minnesota.

As the Lions prepare to avenge their loss against the Vikings from earlier this season on Nov. 2, another big name popped up on Detroit’s initial estimated injury report this week. Star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was listed with a knee injury and with a did not practice designation on Monday.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said on Tuesday afternoon that it got “positive news” on St. Brown’s injury status and the latest Detroit practice report reflects that. On a short week, Tuesday was another walkthrough day for the Lions, meaning its practice report designations are estimations. Still, St. Brown was listed as a limited participant, which is a clear step in the right direction.

Lions running back David Montgomery popped up on the Lions’ Tuesday injury report as a did not practice due to illness. In another key development, starting Lions center Graham Glasgow was listed as a full participant.
