KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos on December 25th at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Fans can find important information and reminders regarding Thursday’s game below.

Thursday night’s game will celebrate the holiday season. There will be several activations throughout the game for fans to honor the season of giving.

As part of the Chiefs “A Month of Mischief” collaboration with Elf on the Shelf, the Kansas City Chiefs and Salvation Army invited Shaniece Woods and her family to tonight’s game for a VIP gameday experience including field passes, participation in Thursday night’s First Pass, a visit from KC Wolf and Chiefs Cheerleaders and other gifts and experiences to make their holiday feel special.

On the field, players will wear holiday-inspired patches featuring an NFL shield backed by two candy canes, capturing the excitement during the holiday season.

Actress, singer, songwriter Brianna Yancey and The Voice Season 26 contestant Mikaela Ayira will perform Thursday night’s national anthem. The Leawood Police Department Honor Guard will present Thursday’s colors.

At halftime, there will be a special holiday performance by the Kansas City Symphony. The Kansas City Symphony is one of the top 25 orchestras in the United States and has been active since 1982. Also featured in Thursday night’s holiday performance are KC Wolf, Chiefs Rumble, Chiefs Cheerleaders, and Chiefs Flag Runners.

During Thursday night’s game, fans can cheer on the Chiefs by using their smartphones to create a light show to welcome the team onto the field during introductions and at the end of the third quarter. The stadium public address announcer will prompt fans as the lights go down, and fans can open their Chiefs app on their smartphone, press “join light show” and their screen will begin to flash in sync to the beat of the music of the stadium.

Fans are encouraged to plan and arrive early. Guests using rideshare services may drop-off and pick-up at the Missouri Welcome Center located between Gates 1 and 2 on Blue Ridge Cutoff.

Fans who are unable to attend Thursday’s game can tune in to KFNZ-FM (96.5 The Fan), the Home of the Chiefs Radio Network, as “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus, former Chiefs WR Danan Hughes and sideline reporter Josh Klingler call the action.

Tico Sports will produce a Spanish-language broadcast available on the Audacy app (“Chiefs en Espanol”) within the Kansas City market and on KSSA La Ke Buena (105.9 FM) in Garden City, Kansas, as well as KSMM-AM 1770 in Liberal, Kansas, featuring Oscar Monterroso, Hannah Bassham and sideline reporter Alvaro Alvarez.

Thursday’s matchup will be featured on local on NBC and nationally on Amazon Prime with Al Micheals (play-by-play announcer), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst), and Kaylee Hartung (sideline reporter) calling the game.

Stadium Gates and Mobile Entry

All GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for the 7:15 p.m. kickoff. Gates for guests with tickets on the CommunityAmerica Club Level will open at 5 p.m. Guests are reminded to access their mobile tickets and parking passes in advance of the event and add them to their mobile wallet for expedited entry.

The Ford Tailgate District, located in Lot M and on the north side of the stadium closest to Lancer Lane, will open at 3:30 p.m.

The Ford Tailgate District is a free space for all fans to enjoy drinks, food trucks, tailgating games and live entertainment leading up to kickoff. This week the district will feature music from DJ Lazer with emcee Spencer Davis. There will be special performances by Chiefs Rumble & the Chiefs Cheerleaders. Partner activations for this game include BetMGM, Draft Kings, Hy-Vee, McDonald’s and the Club Magenta activation for T-Mobile customers. Additionally, there will be a photo opportunity with Santa Claus.

The Chiefs introduced the GEHA Deck in 2019 as the home for two gameday traditions – the Drum Honoree and the Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader. Chiefs Legend Trent Green will serve as this week’s Drum Honoree. Green played quarterback for the Chiefs for six seasons from 2001-06, reaching two Pro Bowls in 2003 and 2005. Green is third all-time in Chiefs history in pass attempts (2,777), completions (1,720), passing yards (21,459), and passing touchdowns (118).

Major Callie Cooper will serve as this week’s Tony DiPardo Spirit Leader.

Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat presented by United Airlines

This week’s Lamar Hunt Legacy Seat, presented by United Airlines, honoree is 15-year Season Ticket Member Renee Strotkamp.

Strotkamp has dedicated 19 years to elementary education in Missouri. The Kansas City native has organized several fundraising events in the Lake of the Ozarks for several initiatives, including the Fresh Start Animal Outreach, Wonderland Camp, Citizens Against Domestic Violence, Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club and Special Olympics Missouri. In addition, Strotkamp has competed in Special Olympics polar plunges for the past 14 years, raising over $50,000 for Special Olympics athletes.

Hunt Family Foundation 50/50 Raffle

This week’s 50/50 Raffle beneficiary is the Hunt Family Foundation.

Raffle tickets will be at the standard pricing of 10 for $10, 60 for $20, 150 tickets for $40, and 400 for $100.
