Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans hope to continue offensive output

  • December 24, 2025

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Cam Ward is trying to finish off his rookie season with some steam.

The Titans have won two of their last three games, and Tennessee’s offense has had a direct impact on that. In all three outings, the Titans have scored at least 24 points. It’s their best stretch of the season and Ward has thrown two touchdown passes in each of those games. He and the offense are clicking.

“Just the rhythm, getting in and out of the huddle, getting to the line, snapping the ball and just continuously playing with the swag and the rhythm that you have to play with,” Ward said.

“Whether it’s a negative play or it’s an explosive play, we’ve all got to the mindset of we know something’s bad going to happen at some point but we got to be able to overcome it. If you can’t overcome bad things then at the end of the day, you’re going to always play from behind the sticks and not have a chance to score a lot of points.”

Ward set the record for the most passing yards in a season by a Titans rookie. He’s got two more games to go. Heading into Week 16, he’s fifth in the NFL in passing attempts.

“If it was up to me, I want to be first every year. So I pride myself on throwing the football,” Ward said.

“I think I’m one of the best throwers of the football, I got a lot of work to do to continue to prove myself up there. But I want be first in passing attempts every year. I have the receiving corps to do it, I have offensive line to do it, but you also got to have that balance, so running the ball, getting playmakers like Tony [Pollard] and Tyjae [Spears] their carries. And just finding out what everybody’s good at and playing a complementary football.”

This Sunday, Ward faces a Saints defense that has 18 takeaways. Ward has seven interceptions this season, but has thrown just one pick in his last seven outings.

A win against New Orleans would be the Titans’ first back-to-back victories since 2022.
