Florida State football quarterback Tommy Castellanos will enter the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced on social media on Tuesday.

Castellanos will forgo his appeal to the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility and instead test the draft waters, putting an end to the speculation over his potential return to FSU.

He threw for 2,760 yards and 15 touchdowns, while throwing nine interceptions in his lone year with the Seminoles, and he added 557 rushing yards and a team-high nine rushing touchdowns.

The Seminoles will likely explore the transfer portal for a starting quarterback. Backup signal caller Brock Glenn entered the transfer portal hours before Castellanos announced his decision to enter the draft. FSU currently has sophomore Kevin Sperry and freshman Jaden O’Neal set to be on the roster next season.

Castellanos joins defensive lineman standout Darrell Jackson in entering the NFL Draft.
