Kick returner Isaiah Williams and running back Breece Hall, two Jets who can electrify NFL fans with the football in their hands, have been named alternates on the AFC roster for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, which will be staged in San Francisco five days before Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium.
Williams is the second alternate at return specialist for the AFC, while Hall comes in as the fourth alternate among the conference’s RBs. The initial all-star rosters were announced Tuesday morning.
Both Jets could be elevated into the middle of the league’s all-star activities in the coming weeks. Last year, 25 players competed in the 2025 Pro Bowl Games who were not named to the initial roster, including 11 who participated in Super Bowl LIX.
Williams, after being released by the Jets following the Week 4 Monday night game at Miami, was re-signed to their practice squad, then experienced a “return” to the active roster and a rapid rise in the league’s kick return circles. The second-year pro had two punt-return touchdowns, in Week 10 against Cleveland and Week 14 vs. Miami, plus an 83-yard kickoff return vs. Atlanta, all in a five-week span.
Through Week 16, Williams is second in the NFL among qualifying kickoff returners with 30.2 yards/return and sixth among qualifying punt returners with a 14.1-yard average.
Hall seeks traction in the final two games, against New England and at Buffalo, to achieve a career first. He needs 46 rushing yards to reach 1,000 yards in a season for the first time in his four-year Jets career. Hall has 954 yards, 14th in the NFL, on 229 carries plus 332 yards on 34 receptions, giving him 1,286 scrimmage yards, 13th overall and 10th among backs.
Hall, a fifth alternate at RB in 2023 when he fell 6 yards short of 1,000 rushing yards, is attempting to become the first Jet to reach 1,000 rushing yards since Chris Ivory in 2015. Ivory that year also was the last Jets RB to participate in the Pro Bowl.
The most recent Jets special-teamer to be named to a Pro Bowl roster was Justin Hardee after the 2022 season and the last return specialist to be selected for the event was Andre Roberts in 2018. Last year DL Quinnen Willaims represented the Green & White at the ’25 Games.
Player selections for the AFC and NFC rosters for the Pro Bowl Games are determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches, with each group’s vote counting one-third toward determining the all-star players who will be selected to this year’s Pro Bowl Games.
For the first time, the 2026 Pro Bowl Games powered by Verizon will move to Super Bowl LX Week in the San Francisco Bay Area. The event brings the league’s top players together for an AFC vs. NFC flag football showdown, coached by Pro Football Hall of Famers Steve Young (AFC) and Jerry Rice (NFC).
The televised event will air live Feb. 3 from San Francisco’s Moscone Center South Building, which will be transformed into a dynamic flag football arena. Coverage of the Pro Bowl Games will begin on ESPN starting at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the flag game kicking off at 8 p.m.
