When the Denver Broncos announced their 2025 NFL schedule last week, they did so in a “uniquely Broncos” way.
The team put decals on the helmets of kids competing in a mutton bustin’ showdown, then the participants (representing Denver’s opponents) rode sheep as long as they could manage before eventually falling off.

The commentator for the video delivered various zingers for the teams represented, including: “It’s a tomahawk flop!” for the Kansas City Chiefs and “Give him a silver star for trying, but nothing else!” for the Dallas Cowboys.
When the New York Giants‘ representative fell off, the commentator quipped: “Oh, a Giant mistake. They are gonna regret that one.”
The Giants, of course, signed former Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson this offseason. Some fans and pundits believe the quip in the video was a reference to Wilson.
Wilson, 36, signed a one-year, $10.5 million contract with New York this spring. Wilson and the Giants are set to travel to Denver to face the Broncos in Week 7 this October.
