The Kansas City Chiefs have two games remaining in the regular season.

The Chiefs have been eliminated from the playoffs and much of that has to be with the injury bug plaguing Kansas City all season.

Andy Reid’ biggest blow of the season came when Patrick Mahomes went down with a season-ending injury. Mahomes tore his ACL and is now recovering from the injury.

On Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs also placed several other stars on injured reserve.

Andy Reid and his staff placed Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson on injured reserve on Christmas Eve. Wide receiver Tyquan Thornton was also included in the report.

“We have placed CB Trent McDuffie, WR Rashee Rice, WR Tyquan Thornton, and CB Jaylen Watson on Reserve/Injured,” posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Thornton, much like Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, was ruled out due to concussion issues in the latter half of the NFL season.

Jaylen Watson was dealing with a groin injury that landing him on injured reserve while Trent McDuffie has been working through a knee injury.

These players join several other Chiefs’ on injured reserve including Josh Simmons and Jawaan Taylor.
