Dak is giving back!
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who leads the team’s offense, recently directed his teammates while off the field to get into the Christmas spirit — as depicted in the Tuesday, Dec. 23 episode of Hard Knocks In Season with the NFC East.
“Obviously, we get paid well, coaches get paid, you’ll see support staff, some of these guys get paid very well,” Prescott, 32. “However, these other people that do a lot for us, we want to help contribute to them, just to say thank you.”
He added, “So all this is, is Christmas bonuses.”
While the cameras rolled and a group of players pondered spreadsheets in front of them, the signal-caller made his plea.
“This is something we’ve done every year, everybody has a sheet, it’s all gonna add up once we … all of our money goes into that pot,” the NFL vet said. “Give more to the guys that work with you, right? The guy that’s snapping the ball with the O-line, guy that’s holding the dummies for the D-line, right? The guys that take care of your equipment, where they clean your lockers, that’s an opportunity to give them more.”
To cap his Christmas message, Prescott told his teammates, “Don’t be cheap.”

And while the Cowboys may be out of the playoffs, Prescott and his teammates, including cornerback Trevon Diggs, made sure to bring cheer to fans in other ways this holiday season.
Earlier this month the team visited children’s hospitals in North Texas — leading to at least one kid’s viral reaction.
When he stopped in to see a patient named Case who is battling asthma, Prescott was met with a pint-sized Cowboys fan who couldn’t believe his eyes.
“Hi, Dak!” Case excitedly yelled and then hugged.
The fifth-grader then drew laughs in the room when he was quickly surprised by another star: “Trevon Diggs?!” he incredulously exclaimed.
