New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel had a hilarious reaction to Will Campbell’s viral moment at a Boston Celtics game.
Campbell attended the game against the Miami Heat last Friday night and was spotted on the Jumbotron taking his shirt off and chugging a beer. The Patriots’ rookie offensive tackle hyped up the crowd, and the Celtics ultimately ended up coming away with a 129-116 victory.
Campbell has quickly become a fan-favorite in the Boston community.
“I’m thinking about firing our strength coach with the way he looked with his shirt off,” Vrabel said during an appearance on The Greg Hill Show, via ESPN’s Mike Reiss.
Campbell is currently on injured reserve after injuring his MCL in the Week 12 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
He is eligible to return for the Patriots’ regular-season finale against the Miami Dolphins next week. At the very least, the team hopes to have him back by the playoffs.
