Merry Christmas, Steeler Nation. We thought the best gift we could give was to offer up a new Pittsburgh Steelers four-round mock draft. The 2026 NFL draft is shaping up to be a head-scratcher for the Steelers based on where they might end up picking and if there will be players at positions of need there worth the pick.

This time around, we decided to not only roll the dice on a quarterback in the first round but also select one of his favorite targets in the second.

First round – QB Ty Simpson – Alabama

Simpson could find himself falling out of the first round altogether if he struggles in the CFB, but we love his ceiling and overall package of athleticism and arm talent.

Second round – WR Germie Bernard – Alabama

If we are taking Simpson in the first, why not pick Bernard in the second and get a dynamic receiver whom Simpson loves throwing the ball to?

Third round – DL Anthony Lucas – USC

We have a feeling Cameron Heyward could retire at the end of the season and Lucas might be the best hybrid 3-4 defensive end in the draft.

Third round – S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren – Toledo

Elite single-high free safety prospect who is physical and have tremendous measureables.

Third round – LB Jacob Rodriquez – Texas Tech

Linebacker might not be a top need but Rodriquez is just too dynamic and disruptive to pass on at this point in the draft.

Fourth round – CB Will Lee III – Texas A&M

Lee has had his ups and downs this season but is a no-risk pick in the fourth round with his size and potential.

Fourth round – G Keylan Rutledge – Georgia Tech

Strong, athletic developmental guard with a ton of experience.
