What is next for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs?

Joe Rivera and and Chris Bumbaca break down Patrick Mahomes’ ACL tear and where they see the KC organization going moving forward.

Depending on where you are in the world, surfing probably isn’t an option this time of year. Channel surfing is, however.

Except for NFL fans on Christmas in 2025. That won’t be possible either, even though there is a trio of matchups under the tree for everyone to watch. While the trendy gifts tend to change each year, there is nothing like the classics, which withstand the test of time.

And that’s huge for the league this season.

They did their shopping early, scheduling three division matchups for fans to enjoy. Unfortunately, most of those teams are eliminated from playoff contention already and the NFL’s biggest star, Patrick Mahomes, is out for the season with a torn ACL.

On the bright side, rivalries don’t care about how good the teams are.

The Washington Commanders welcome the CeeDee Lamb and Dallas Cowboys to the nation’s capital in the early game, renewing an NFC East rivalry. Then Justin Jefferson and the Minnesota Vikings clash with the Detroit Lions in an NFC North battle, setting the stage for the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos to close it out in the nightcap.

Even without Mahomes, the stars will be out in full force.

While Netflix will handle the national broadcast, local fans will have the chance to enjoy the show without spending extra money. Here’s a look at how you can watch the NFL’s Christmas slate.

Fans with an NFL+ subscription will also be able to stream the games in the NFL app on their mobile devices.
