Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey offered comments on the missed pass interference call in last week’s Sunday Night Football game against the New England Patriots.
The play happened when Humphrey was covering Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte. Patriots quarterback Drake Maye heaved up a deep pass, and Humphrey tackled Boutte before he had a chance to make a play on the ball.

Shockingly, the play didn’t draw a penalty flag. Even Humphrey was surprised that the play wasn’t flagged by the officials.
“I’m not going to lie. That was crazy. …I honestly feel like I did tackle bro. I’m pretty sure that should’ve been a PI, but they didn’t call it, so I will take it where we take it,” Humphrey said on The Marlon Humphrey Show.
It’s pretty telling when a defensive player admits he should’ve been called for a penalty.
Nevertheless, the Patriots were still able to come away with the victory in a game that helped them clinch a spot in the playoffs for the first time since the 2021 season.
