How Old Are Jason and Travis Kelce?
Travis and Jason are considered two of the greatest football players of all time at their respective positions. Travis, a 36-year-old tight end, has spent each of his 13 NFL seasons playing for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Across that stretch, Travis, born Oct. 5, 1989, has appeared in five Super Bowls and won three of them. Not only is he a true winner, but he is also one of the most productive tight ends ever, totaling 1,072 catches for 12,954 yards and 82 touchdowns.
Jason’s career is equally impressive. The legendary 38-year-old center was the leader of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive line for 13 years before retiring in 2024. Jason, born two years earlier on Nov. 5, 1987, allowed only 19 sacks in 193 games started and had the opportunity to play in two Super Bowls, winning one in 2018.
The brothers’ most remarkable feat, however, didn’t come from the box score. Feb. 12, 2023, marked the first time brothers ever faced each other in a Super Bowl. Unfortunately, only one brother could emerge as a champion. That happened to be younger brother Travis, as the Chiefs defeated the Eagles 38-35.
Away from the football field, Travis and Jason have proven to be just as successful. The brothers launched a podcast in September 2022 called “New Heights,” a tribute to their hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. The podcast became an immediate hit, as fans embraced Travis and Jason’s personalities along with the steady stream of guest stars appearing week after week, most notably LeBron James and Patrick Mahomes.
Travis has also been in the headlines due to his engagement to superstar singer Taylor Swift. The two announced their engagement in August 2025 after dating for about two years.
As for Jason, he currently works for ESPN as an analyst on Monday Night Countdown. When he is not broadcasting, he spends time at home with his four daughters and his wife, Kylie.
With Travis now 36 and the Chiefs missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014, many have speculated that he may retire after this season. Between his podcast with Jason, his life at home with Taylor, and his ability to entertain off the field, there is little doubt he will continue to find success after football.
