Star watch: Broncos
The Broncos turnaround isn’t just on the shoulder of Bo Nix, but the QB that Sean Payton desperately wanted in the NFL Draft a couple years ago has proven to be exactly what Denver needed to turn things around. He’s not putting up jaw dropping numbers, or MVP stats, but he’s doing the things that his team needs him to do to win, especially late in games. He had four TD passes against the Denver Broncos two weeks ago, and and has 24 on the year, but has also thrown 10 INTs while passing for 3,608 yards. He’s not in the MVP conversation, but he is in the one seed in the AFC conversation and for him, his coach and his team that is much more important.
