The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 17 contest against the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The media did not have access to Thursday’s practice due to the Christmas holiday, but the latest team report revealed no major surprises.

Tight end George Kittle missed his second straight practice after suffering an ankle injury on Monday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is continuing to practice after missing last week’s sessions and the Colts game, while cornerback Renardo Green works his way back on the field after being inactive in Week 16.

Left tackle Trent Williams and running back Christian McCaffrey received veteran rest days on Wednesday but returned for Thursday’s practice. Defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos also returned after being sidelined on Wednesday.

Below are Thursday’s practice participation reports for both the 49ers and Bears, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. The Bears’ report is an estimate of participation, as the team did not practice on Thursday.
