PROVO, Utah – BYU football has picked up a commitment from a player who was previously committed to a Big Ten program.
Terrance Saryon, a wide receiver in the class of 2026 from Vancouver, Washington, has announced his commitment to BYU. Before committing to the Cougars, the 5-foot-10, 160-pound Saryon was a pledge to his hometown Washington Huskies.

Now he joins BYU’s 2026 recruiting class, which continues to gain momentum as they gear up for a busy summer filled with official visitors.
Saryon was on a visit to BYU’s campus last week.
247Sports ranks Saryon as the fifth-best prospect in the state of Washington for the class of 2026. In the 247Sports Composite, Saryon is a three-star prospect and the 877th-ranked recruit in the nation.
He reports offers from Washington, Illinois, and Oregon in the Big Ten, Cal out of the ACC, and Washington State from the Pac-12.
Saryon committed to Jedd Fisch and the Huskies last November before this switch to BYU. He projects as a slot receiver at the Division I level.
Saryon had 39 receptions for 818 yards and eight touchdowns at Evergreen High School in Washington last year.
The commitment of Saryon gives BYU eight commitments in the class of 2026. He’s the third-highest rated recruit in BYU’s class by 247Sports, behind only four-star prospects Brock Harris (TE, Pine View) and Bott Mulitalo (OL, Lone Peak).
