The first of two Week 17 Saturday games gives us an AFC tilt between two strong franchises with defensive mindsets. As a result, these props cater to the likelihood of a low-scoring affair as the Houston Texans head to the Los Angeles Chargers.
There’s a natural crossover between fantasy football and NFL player prop bets. If you haven’t participated in sports betting but love fantasy sports, this is as fine as any place to begin. You can wager as little as pennies just to get your feet wet. Aside from the thrill of winning real money, it’s a fun way to test your knowledge and prognostication skills.

Texans QB C.J. Stroud 20+ Completions (-138)
Stroud has hit this line three times in the last month and eight of the past 10 outings. While only six quarterbacks have done this against the Bolts in 2025, the profile between these two teams projects unfavorably for running backs and big passing plays. That means we have a lot of checkdowns and extended handoffs in the forecast.

Chargers WR Ladd McConkey 40+ Receiving Yards (-128)
As part of that aforementioned game profile, short-area passing also extends to the Chargers, especially if the Texans can apply consistent pressure on Justin Herbert. We don’t need McConkey to have a huge day — just nab three or four catches and he should pay out. Seventeen receivers have posted at least 40 yards against what is statistically the second-best defense of the position.
Chargers RB Omarion Hampton Anytime TD (+135)
With two softer props out of the way, let’s take a stab at a richer payout. The Chargers have a poor aerial matchup this week, and Hampton has played fairly well in his limited run this season, scoring in two of the last three and five of the six contests. Houston has manhandled wideouts but allowed 11 rushing and two receiving TDs to running backs through 15 games. All it takes is one successful run….

Same-Game Parlay for Texans at Chargers
If you’re feeling confident in all three of these legs hitting, the SGP is worth tossing a few bucks at. The current odds are +550 for the aforementioned combined bet.
