A few days ago, popular NFL insider The Athletic’s James Boyd took to X and wrote, “#Colts HC Shane Steichen says QB Anthony Richardson Sr. (eye) will NOT be activated off IR this week.”Anthony Richardson has been on the injured reserve for more than two months after he suffered an orbital fracture. It seems the star player would be missing from the field tomorrow as well as the team takes the field against the Jacksonville Jaguars.Last week, the Indianapolis Colts’ head coach Shane Steichen opened up about Anthony Richardson’s eye injury and said, “still has some vision limitations, so not fully and 100 percent clear.”The popular head coach added, “As I mentioned last week, Anthony returned for physical activity, but he still has some vision limitation in his eye…”Shane Steichen continued, “So we’re gonna get him back on the practice field, get him throwing, doing some scout team reps. It’s just something that he’ll have to manage through the process.”While Anthony Richardson did return to practice last week which had sparked hopes among fans, there has been no progress since then.
