Victorious opponents of the Green Bay Packers appear to be attempting to begin a new trend.

For the second straight week, a team that defeated the Green Bay Packers donned foam cheese grater headgear after defeating the Packers.

Seven days after Chicago Bears receiver DJ Moore wore a cheese grater in the locker room, key players in the Baltimore Ravens’ 41-24 victory broke out similar foam lids.

Baltimore running back Derrick Henry ran for 216 of the Ravens‘ 308 rushing yards. He also had four touchdowns. As far as shredding a defense goes, that certainly qualifies.

Teammate Tyler Huntley filled in at quarterback for an injured Lamar Jackson and had 107 yards passing and 60 yards rushing to help support Henry’s superior effort.. Jackson actually made sure to crown his teammate and fellow quarterback with the giant piece of foam.

The Ravens’ somewhat cheesy celebration could be quite brief. Though the win keeps the Ravens’ slim playoff hopes alive, Baltimore now need the 3-12 Cleveland Browns to defeat the 9-6 Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 28 to control their own destiny in making the AFC postseason. A Pittsburgh victory would eliminate the Ravens from playoff contention.

This is already getting old for Packers fans.

But Bears fans were obviously quite pleased.

Losers of three straight games, the Packers may see more cheese graters in Minnesota next week if they can’t find a way to win.
