CHARLOTTE—Two Seahawks players are inactive due to injury for Sunday’s game against the Panthers, left tackle Charles Cross (hamstring) and safety Coby Bryant (knee), both of whom were ruled out on Friday’s injury report.

Otherwise the Seahawks are healthy coming into Sunday’s matchup of first-place teams, with the remaining inactive list consisting of healthy scratches.

With Cross out, Josh Jones will make his second straight start at left tackle, while Ty Okada will start as safety in place of Bryant.

Amari Kight, who was elevated from the practice squad Saturday, is active to provide depth at tackle, while running back Cam Akers, Seattle’s other practice squad elevation, is active and will be the third running back behind Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet.

Also active is rookie outside linebacker Connor O’Toole, who will give the Seahawks added depth in that rotation with Derick Hall suspended for Sunday’s game.

The Panthers will be without starting defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton, who was ruled out on Friday due to a Hamstring injury. Also ruled out was linebacker Trevin Wallace, who was later placed on injured reserve. Receiver Tetairoa McMillan is active after being added to the injury report as questionable Sunday morning due to illness.
