An amazing sack, strip and touchdown run by defensive end Chase Young kept the New Orleans Saints close, trailing the Tennessee Titans 20-10 at halftime at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Young strip-sacked Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward, the No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft, and returned in 33 yards for a touchdown with 3:51 to play in the half. Young has a career-best eight sacks this season in just 11 games.
The only points the Saints (5-10) had scored prior to Young’s play came on a 56-yard field goal by Charlie Smyth with 5:53 to play in the second quarter. Earlier, Smyth missed a 43-yard attempt wide to the left.
