We have a day and a time for the Carolina Panthers‘ massive Week 18 showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The NFL has announced that the Panthers’ regular-season finale in Tampa Bay has been scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 3 at 4:30 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast by ABC/ESPN.
Carolina, with a win, would clinch their first NFC South title since the 2015 campaign.
Head coach Dave Canales talked about the opportunity to play for the division crown following Sunday afternoon’s 27-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
“We know it’s in front of us, it’s clearly defined,” Canales stated. “It was gonna come down to this game, us handling our business and facing the Bucs one more time in the last game of the season. Couldn’t ask for a better situation than this.”
The Panthers can also clinch the division with two wins by the Atlanta Falcons, who play the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night and the New Orleans Saints in Week 18.
