The Miami Dolphins pulled off the upset yesterday as they took down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team fighting for a playoff spot. Rookie QB Quinn Ewers not only got his first win as a starter but threw his first touchdown to WR Theo Wease, who also recorded his first TD catch on the same play. Ewers had a great first half but was quiet with the lead in the second half as the team opted to run the ball. On defense, rookie CB Jason Marshall Jr. had his first interception and made some great plays through out the game. We can’t forget special teams either as another rookie stepped up in DL Zeke Biggers who blocked a field goal attempt. This is a win to feel good about for the young guns on the squad.
