The Denver Broncos head coach sounded off on New Year’s Eve when asked if he had any plans by reporters on Wednesday.
“I didn’t know it was New Year’s Eve. The most overrated holiday, honestly. Like, seriously, I didn’t know it was New Year’s Eve,” he said.
Payton was also asked if he had any messages for his players who might be going out for New Year’s Eve.

“Today’s generation doesn’t drink as much.”
Broncos have a Week 18 game
The Broncos are looking to wrap up the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC with a victory in Week 18 on Sunday.
Denver is taking on Los Angeles in a Week 18 game.
