For the second time this week, the Arizona Cardinals have added an Auburn alumnus to their 53-man active roster.
On Tuesday, the Cardinals signed tight end Rivaldo Fairweather from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad.
On Thursday, Arizona was awarded linebacker Austin Keys off waivers by the NFL.
The Minnesota Vikings waived the rookie on Wednesday after he had eight defensive snaps and 191 special-teams plays in 11 games in 2025. Keys didn’t last long: The Cardinals hold the No. 5 slot in the waiver-claiming order this week.
Arizona picked up Keys after putting rookie safety Kitan Crawford on injured reserve. In 15 games this season, Crawford had appeared on 319 special-teams plays for the Cardinals.
Arizona concludes its 2025 season against the Los Angeles Rams at 3:25 p.m. Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
