The Green Bay Packers have not been shy about churning their roster in 2025, and perhaps the most notable in-season acquisition is one of their most recent. With the cornerback group ailing and Trevon Diggs suddenly on the market, the Packers claimed him on waivers to add to a room that desperately needs bodies — and players who can get their hands on footballs.

That is probably Diggs’ greatest strength, after all. The former second-round draft pick does not have an interception this season, but he had at least three picks and at least 14 pass defenses in each of his first three NFL seasons. His finest was in 2021, when he led the NFL with 11 picks on the way to being a first-team All-Pro player. It has been some time since he played at that standard, but with the corners struggling of late and dealing with multiple season-ending injuries, bringing in Diggs is a chance worth taking.

First off, however, let’s congratulate the Loves on an expected addition of their own. Jordan and Ronika announced that they are expecting their first child in a post on Instagram on Thursday:

It’s pretty fun to have a normal human as your team’s quarterback. Jordan has work to do between now and then, of course, and he got back to full go in practice on Thursday. Let’s lead off curds there.
