The Washington Commanders (4-12) and the Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) meet Sunday in Week 18 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Commanders vs. Eagles odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.
Washington closed its home schedule with a 30-23 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 17, but covered as an 8.5-point underdog as the Over (50.5) hit. Rookie RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt powered the offense with 105 rushing yards and 2 TDs. Third-string QB Josh Johnson managed the game efficiently, throwing for 198 yards without a turnover.
Philadelphia earned its third straight win in Week 17, holding off the Buffalo Bills 13-12 on the road. The Eagles covered as 3-point underdogs as the Under (45) hit. QB Jalen Hurts threw for 110 yards and a TD and RB Saquon Barkley added 68 rushing yards on 19 carries. The NFC East champions secured at least the NFC’s No. 3 seed with the victory.
Philadelphia defeated Washington 29-18 on Dec. 20 in their last meeting, covering as 7-point road favorites with the Over (43) cashing.

PASS.
The Eagles (-220) will win their season finale with QB Tanner McKee under center and they’ll do it comfortably. I’ll take my wager to the spread.
BET EAGLES -4.5 (-110).
The Eagles still have seeding to play for, and that alone gives them more incentive than Washington. Coach Nick Sirianni might rest a few starters, but this roster has proven it can handle these spots. The depth is real, and the effort won’t be lacking.
Washington feels like a team ready for the season to end. They’ve struggled for weeks, especially as underdogs, and asking them to go on the road and keep pace with Philadelphia’s defense is a big ask. Even with Hurts sitting, the drop-off is minimal with how this offense is structured.
We just saw these teams play 2 weeks ago, and the Eagles controlled that game from start to finish. Being at home only helps. From a numbers standpoint, the line feels light. I’m comfortable laying it with Philadelphia and trusting the deeper, more motivated team to cover.
BET UNDER 39 (-110).
Washington has had a hard time scoring all season with constant quarterback changes and injuries, and now they run into a Philadelphia team that’s clearly looking ahead to the playoffs. The Eagles are resting most of their key starters, so the offenses should be limited on both sides.
We saw a similar setup last year when Philadelphia played Week 18 with backups and the game stayed low scoring. The Commanders also struggled to move the ball in the earlier meeting, doing most of their damage late. With little urgency, limited continuity and both teams ready for the season to end, this sets up as a controlled, low-scoring game. The Under is the play.
