Brendan O’Sullivan breaks down the opening odds for the AFC Wild Card matchup between the Texans and Steelers.
The Steelers and Ravens fought to the final seconds of Sunday Night Football to claim the final playoff spot. Despite a late drive into field goal range, the Ravens missed the 44-yard kick, granting the Steelers a playoff berth.
This is the Steelers’ third consecutive postseason appearance and fifth in six years. It’s only the second time in this stretch that the team won the AFC North, however. As a reward, Pittsburgh gets home-field advantage during Wild Card Weekend.
The downside is that Pittsburgh hosts the Houston Texans, who are on a nine-game win streak.
Here are the opening odds via DraftKings Sportsbook for the 2026 AFC Wild Card Round matchup between the Texans and Steelers.
Texans vs. Steelers Opening Odds on DraftKings Sportsbook
The Texans open as three-point favorites and -155 on the moneyline, while the Steelers are +130. The over/under is set at 39.5 points.

This game features the lowest point total of all six Wild Card matchups. Between the Texans’ suffocating defense and the Steelers’ lackluster offense, there’s not expected to be many points.
One thing can’t be measured, however, and that’s experience. Aaron Rodgers is back in the postseason for the first time since the 2021 season. This game will be Rodgers’ 23rd career playoff game, all of which came with the Packers.
