Fairbairn successfully converted six of six field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries in Sunday’s 38-30 win over Indianapolis in Week 18.
Fairbairn, who tied a franchise record for field goals in a single game, upped his season total to 44 field goals, which tied an NFL single-season record set by David Akers in 2011 for the 49ers. Fairbairn, who missed two games in 2025 due to injury, converted 44-of-49 FGA (92 percent) and all 28 of his extra-point tries in 2025. He finished second in scoring with 160 points, behind Seattle’s Jason Myers (171).
