After going 10-7 in 2024 and reaching the NFL playoffs for the first time since 2015, the Denver Broncos seem to be getting more respect from national media members.
Last week, Henry McKenna of Fox Sports released his predictions for the 2025 NFL season. He has the Broncos winning the AFC West and entering the playoffs as the AFC’s No. 3 seed, behind the Buffalo Bills (No. 2) and Baltimore Ravens (No. 1). Rounding out the conference’s playoff field are the Indianapolis Colts (No. 4), Los Angeles Chargers (No. 5), Kansas City Chiefs (No. 6) and Cincinnati Bengals (No. 7).
That’s right, McKenna has three teams from the AFC West reaching the postseason this fall. His playoff predictions have Denver defeating KC 13-10 in the Wild Card round. The Broncos then bow out in the divisional round with a 17-14 loss to the Bills (a much more respectable result than 2024’s playoff game).
Fans in Denver would obviously love to go all the way, but if the Broncos win the division this year and then beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, it would be hard to consider that anything less than a big success.
