ESPN reports Kansas City Chiefs Defensive Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and Offensive Coordinator Matt Nagy are among the eight candidates. Of note, Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi, spent 16 years working in various roles with the Chiefs organization.

ESPN also has reported former Cleveland Browns Head Coach Kevin Stefanski is a candidate.

The Falcons relieved Morris of his coaching duties Monday after he recorded two full and one abbreviated losing seasons.

In October, Tennessee dismissed second-year Head Coach Brian Callahan and tapped Senior Offensive Assistant Mike McCoy to serve in an interim role. ESPN reports, citing a source, that McCoy interviewed for the job on Tuesday.

A Titans committee of Borgonzi, President of Football Operations Chad Brinker, Assistant GM Dave Ziegler, Vice President/football advisor Reggie McKenzie and Director of Player Personnel Jon Salge is overseeing the coach selection effort for controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk.

Tennessee ended its season with a 3-14 record after a 41-7 loss at Jacksonville on Sunday.
