Another week, another accolade for a member of the Houston Texans.

Fairbairn posted and connected on six of his field goal attempts, ranging from 43 to 51 yards out to help Houston secure its 12th victory of the regular season, including the game-winning 43-yard field goal with 12 seconds remaining.
His six field goals brought his season total to 44, tying David Akers (2011) for the most field goals made in a single season in NFL history.
Fairbairn also tied Randy Bullock for the most field goals made (six) in a single game in franchise history and tied for the most made field goals by any NFL kicker this season.
The veteran’s 20 points (six field goals, two extra points) stand as the most in a single game in franchise history. It also ties Baltimore Ravens Pro Bowl running back Derrick Henry for the second-most points scored by a player in the regular season (24 points on 12/27/25). He is the only NFL player to connect on five field goals of at least 40 yards in a single game this season.
For the season, Fairbairn finished making 91.7% of his field goal attempts. He was also 28-of-28 extra point attempts, setting a single-season franchise record in field goals made (44) and points scored (160).
