Matt Kalil is suing his ex-wife Haley Kalil

The former NFL star alleges in the lawsuit, per TMZ, that Haley shared “invasive commentary” regarding their marriage while on a Twitch livestream

Weeks after his ex-wife Haley Kalil divulged intimate details about their marriage, former NFL star Matt Kalil is suing the influencer and model.

In a lawsuit obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, Jan. 6, the former Minnesota Vikings star calls out Haley’s “invasive commentary” — shared on a Twitch livestream in November — for ruining his ability to stay out of the public eye.

In a conversation with popular streamer Marlon Garcia, the former Sports Illustrated model candidly opened up about the couple’s sex life during their nearly seven-year marriage, and insinuated that her ex’s penis size was “the biggest factor” in their divorce.

In the lawsuit, per TMZ, Kalil, 36, alleges that Haley, 33, “implied that the size of Plaintiff’s genitalia was a primary factor in the parties’ divorce and claimed that sexual intercourse with Plaintiff would leave her ‘in tears.’ “

After the livestream, Matt alleges that he received “unwanted attention and invasive commentary from the public” and that family members “have been forced to endure the ongoing public circulation of these degrading and deeply personal statements.”

In addition, the retired NFL star claims his new wife Keilani Asmus, whom he married in 2024, has received messages that are “increasingly frequent disturbing and alarming in nature over time.”

Kalil alleges that Haley has been able to “financially benefit from this surge in traffic” in the wake of the livestream, and that she has “received substantial financial benefit, increased viewership, increased engagement and monetization through various social media platforms and media coverage.”

Kalil is asking for a jury trial and damages with an amount exceeding $75,000 “on all causes asserted in the complaint.”

PEOPLE has contacted Kalil and Haley for comment.

After the lawsuit news broke, Haley told Page Six that she was “shocked and incredibly hurt upon receiving the news of this filing.”

“Litigation is a harrowing and emotionally draining experience, and I am heartbroken that he is choosing to subject us and our families to this ordeal,” she told the outlet.

In a clip from the livestream shared online, Haley at first only vaguely explained her issues with her ex-husband, whom she filed for divorce from in 2022.

Initially, she refused to get into specifics, but she later shared her perspective in a more detailed manner.

“He was like two Coke cans on top of each other, maybe even a third,” she claimed about her then-husband’s manhood.

“But I was going to try it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying. Looked up lipo-type s—,” the influencer continued, explaining the steps she was willing to take in order to remedy the couple’s ability to have sex.

“That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy, and it kinda writes itself,” she went on to say.
