Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs saw their 2025 NFL season come to an end in Week 18, falling to the Las Vegas Raiders 14-12. The Chiefs, after starting the year with a 6-5 record, dropped their final six games, finishing at 6-11 and missing the playoffs. To make matters worse, Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in mid-December, ending his year.
Still, Kelce continued his Hall of Fame–worthy career in his 13th NFL season. At age 36, the former Cincinnati Bearcats tight end played all 17 games and remained Mahomes’ favorite target, recording 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns. But as the offseason begins, attention now turns to Kelce’s looming decision on whether to retire or return for a 14th season.

Going into the 2025 NFL season, Kelce had scored 80 total touchdowns with the Chiefs since joining the league in 2013, including 77 receiving, two rushing and one fumble recovery for a total of 480 points. He had also converted five two-point conversions for 10 points, bringing his total to 490, the second-most in franchise history by a non-kicker.
And in the Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mahomes hit Kelce for a two-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter, marking his second touchdown and 12th point of the season. In doing so, Kelce passed former Chiefs running back Priest Holmes (500 points) for the most points in franchise history by a non-kicker, reaching 502.

With three more touchdowns later in the season and a two-point conversion against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, Kelce increased his record to 522 points. Meanwhile, legendary tight end Tony Gonzalez ranks third on the Chiefs’ all-time list with 462 points, while Kelce’s former teammate Tyreek Hill is fourth with 402.

While Kelce holds the Chiefs’ points record among non-kickers, he ranks only fourth on the franchise’s all-time list when kickers are included. Nick Lowery tops the list with 1,466 points from 1980 to 1993, converting 329 field goals and 479 extra points. Fellow kickers Jan Stenerud (1,231) and Harrison Butker (1,122) rank second and third, respectively.
