In addition to their eight draft picks, the Indianapolis Colts have also signed 15 undrafted rookies after the 2025 NFL draft to add to their 91-man offseason roster.

Just as we did with each of the eight draft selections, let’s take a closer look at each of the Colts‘ UDFAs. Up next is UAB defensive end Desmond Little.

Just about all of Little’s 1,100 career snaps on defense have come over the last two seasons while he was at UAB. Prior to that, Little spent his first four seasons from 2019 through 2022 at LSU.

At 242 pounds, Little is a bit undersized as a defensive end but adds speed to that position group. He had steady production during his two seasons at UAB, totaling 30 pressures and eight sacks in 2023, followed by 29 pressures and eight sacks in 2024.

Among 200-plus defensive ends last season, Little ranked 60th in PFF’s pass-rush productivity metric. He also improved as a run defender by PFF’s metrics, but may be on the field during more pass-heavy situations.

Also of note when discussing UDFAs, Little has some–but not a ton–of special teams experience playing 121 snaps during his college career, most of which came on the field goal block unit.

Chad Reuter of NFL.com put together his top UDFAs at each position group following the NFL draft, and Little came in at No. 24 among the edge rushers.
