Texas Football has landed a commitment from elite Pitt Panthers linebacker Rasheem Biles out of the NCAA transfer portal. Biles spent the last two seasons in Pittsburgh and is the No. 1 LB in the portal according to On3.
Biles had a great season for the Panthers, earning second-team All-ACC honors. The Ohio native had 101 tackles (17 for a loss), 4.5 sacks and scored three touchdowns, two from an interception and one a fumble return.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound playmaker visited Austin Friday and posted on social media from Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on his trip. The junior should be a walk-in started for new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.
Linebacker is a huge position of need for Texas. UT’s depth has been decimated with transfers and NFL Draft entries. Texas lost Anthony Hill Jr. and Trey Moore to the NFL Draft and Liona Lefau and Elijah Barnes have left via the portal.
