According to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett, former Alabama Crimson Tide transfer linebacker Noah Carter committed to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Carter is the third Alabama transfer to announce a commitment to Georgia Tech this month. The linebacker joins wide receiver Jaylen Mbakwe and offensive lineman Joseph Ionata in making the move to Atlanta.
A redshirt freshman, Carter appeared in 14 total games across his two seasons in Tuscaloosa. He compiled 11 tackles and 0.5 TFL in those games after being one of the first players to commit to Alabama during the Kalen DeBoer era. This season, Carter appeared in 11 games for Alabama and posted a career-high nine tackles and 0.5 TFL.
Entering his redshirt sophomore season, Carter will have three years of eligibility remaining.
