When the Baltimore Ravens parted ways with longtime head coach John Harbaugh last week, he instantly jumped to the top of the wishlist for Tennessee Titans fans.

After suffering through those past few seasons of futility, the stability and success that Harbaugh brought to the Ravens is a welcome thought, and it appears that Harbaugh is ready for another challenge. And Tennessee could be a potential fit.

Harbaugh is both accomplished and experienced, going 193-124 in Baltimore, earning a Super Bowl championship and AP NFL Coach of the Year honors during his career.

While there are no firm specifics about a potential interview, it appears the veteran coach is interested in the Titans, specifically in quarterback Cam Ward.

“John Harbaugh is spending today and the next few days watching film specifically on quarterbacks Jaxson Dart and Cam Ward,” Russini said. “He’s also been in contact with team decision makers, while continuing to communicate with potential members of his own coaching staff.

With Tennessee’s coaching search expanding into a second week as they wait for Wild Card Weekend to end, waiting a couple of extra days to talk to Harbaugh would make some sense, especially if the acclaimed coach is interested in the position.

From Russini’s post, it appears that Harbaugh has an affinity for teams with young quarterbacks in place, mentioning the New York Giants and their young signal caller, Jaxson Dart. Like Dart, Ward showed his potential in 2025, but he needs stability and some more weapons in his arsenal to take the next step.

On top of Ward, the fact that the Titans hold the fourth-overall draft pick and lead the NFL in available salary cap space entering the offseason could help lure the veteran coach to Nashville.Â
