Former Penn State football cornerback A.J. Harris has committed to transfer to Indiana, he announced on Instagram. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Harris transferred to Penn State ahead of the 2024 season from Georgia. He made an immediate impact in his sophomore season, playing all 16 games with 15 starts. He ended his year with 48 tackles, four tackles-for-loss, one interception, and five pass breakups, earning him All-Big Ten third team honors.
His strong year primed him for an even bigger role in Penn State’s secondary in 2025. However, his junior season didn’t exactly go to plan. He started every game besides the Nittany Lions’ win over Michigan State, but only tallied 25 tackles and one pass breakup.
Harris departed from the program ahead of the Pinstripe Bowl. He was the No. 3 cornerback in the class of 2023, No. 5 player in Alabama, and No. 39 in the nation as a recruit, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
Harris is the first former Nittany Lion to land at Indiana.
