The Arizona Cardinals had a whirlwind of a season in 2025 and sophomore wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. definitely felt the effects of the franchise’s turmoil. With a combination of Injuries and team controversy to a lack of true leadership within a locker room, all of these factors had a negative impact on Harrison as he sought to be  optimistic in the midst of a desert storm.

Again, Harrison finished only his second NFL season as a pro, and this year he was deprived on an opportunity to build with quarterback Kyler Murray. Additionally, Harrison was accompanied by a inadequate rushing attack that ranked No. 29 in rush yards per game. The Cardinals’ one-dimensional offensive attack was led by the pure relentless passion of tight end Trey McBride and the emergence of wide receiver Michael Wilson, which was likely due to Harrison missing games with injury.

Ultimately, Harrison caught just 41 passes this season, with his best game coming against the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 3 when he had seven catches for 96 yards. Harrison spent the last week of the NFL season on injury reserve with Murray, offensive lineman Paris Johnson, and rookie defensive lineman Walter Nolan III. Hopefully, 2026 will be more prosperous for Harrison as he embarks on a chance to advance his NFL career and walk in his father’s footsteps.
