After 18 seasons and many years of success coaching the Baltimore Ravens, John Harbaugh has a big decision on his hands regarding which NFL team to coach next.

A number of franchises have shown interest as well in hiring the Super Bowl winning coach to lead their side.

As such, there are various factors Harbaugh will have to consider as he weighs up his options.

Eli Manning, Brian Daboll have reached out to Harbaugh

It appears though that a couple of people who have history with the New York Giants have shared their thoughts and perspectives with Harbaugh to perhaps help the 63 year old make his selection.  

In a post on X/Twitter, Ian O’Connor has shared that former Giants head coach Brian Daboll and two-time Super Bowl winning QB Eli Manning have been in contact with Harbaugh and have even pitched to him the positives of taking over in the Big Apple.

“Eli Manning and Brian Daboll are among the voices who have called John Harbaugh to give him a strong recommendation on Jaxson Dart and the Giants,” O’Connor wrote.

While New York have had their struggles in recent times, their rookie QB Dart did show some promise this year in a season in which the NFC East team finished 4-13 and let go of Daboll in November.  

Overall, it may be the case that a proven and experienced coach such as Harbaugh could be the missing piece the Giants need to get back on track towards winning ways.
