According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer, Alabama Crimson Tide defensive lineman Jordan Renaud has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Renaud becomes the third Alabama player to depart the program this offseason at the “bandit” position, joining LT Overton and Keon Keeley. Overton, Alabama’s starter at the position, went to the 2026 NFL draft due to exhausted eligibility, while Keeley recently transferred to Notre Dame.
A member of Alabama’s 2023 recruiting class, Renaud has seen action each of the last three seasons in Tuscaloosa, posting a combined 35 tackles, 3.5 TFL, and 0.5 sacks across 29 games played. This past season, Renaud played in 15 games for the Crimson Tide as a redshirt sophomore, racking up 18 tackles and 1.5 TFL.
Prior to Alabama, Renaud was considered the nation’s No. 60 overall prospect, as well as No. 10 edge rusher, in the 2023 class out of Tyler Legacy High School in Texas, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
