The Eagles are looking for another new offensive coordinator after moving on from Kevin Patullo.

As head coach Nick Sirianni enters his sixth season at the helm in 2025, this next coordinator will be his fifth following Shane Steichen, Brian Johnson, Kellen Moore and Patullo.

This should be an attractive job.

Here’s all the latest news on the candidates for the job:

Jan 14: The Eagles have started to reach out to candidates and there are a couple at the top of their list, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic: Mike McDaniel and Brian Daboll.

The Eagles are reportedly expected to take a big swing with their next OC hire and either of these two would qualify. Both McDaniel and Daboll were head coaches in the 2025 season.

McDaniel, 42, was the Dolphins head coach for the last four seasons and finished up his time in Miami with a 35-33 record. He was previously a run game coordinator and offensive coordinator under Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco so he has a background in the Shanahan offense. McDaniel was the head coach in Miami in 2023 when Vic Fangio was his DC. That lasted just one year.

Daboll, 50, was fired as the Giants head coach during this past season and finished up with a 20-40-1 record. Daboll was the OC at Alabama in 2017 so he has coached Jalen Hurts before. Daboll also has a relationship with Nick Sirianni. Daboll was the OC in Kansas City in 2012 when Sirianni was a wide receivers coach.
