Indianapolis Colts’ defensive end Kwity Paye is set to be a free agent this upcoming offseason.
So what might his next contract look like, and how much could he earn on a new deal?
According to Spotrac, Paye’s free agent contract could look something like three years, $53.28 million. That’s an average annual value of $17.8 million per year.
For the Colts, GM Chris Ballard should look elsewhere for defensive end help.
This is a position group that has to be reshaped this offseason. For one, along with Paye, Samson Ebukam, and Tyquan Lewis are also free agents. But in addition to that, “more fuel,” as Ballard put it, is needed from the defensive front.
